Who we are

Modern Era Weddings ("Modern Era," "we," "us") is a high-energy wedding entertainment company headquartered at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, with operating teams in Punta Gorda, FL; Pittsburgh, PA; and destination markets across the United States. Information we collect

  • Contact & event details you submit through consultation forms, the vibe quiz, or our client portal: name, email, phone, wedding date, venue, planning preferences.
  • Account & session data from Clerk when you sign in to the client, artist, venue, or admin portals.
  • Payment metadata from Stripe when you save a card or complete a checkout. We never receive or store full card numbers.
  • Email & SMS engagement (opens, clicks, opt-outs) for marketing campaigns you've consented to receive.
  • Site analytics via Google Analytics 4 (page views, route timing, anonymized IP, device class), Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, and aggregate Core Web Vitals, loaded only if you accept analytics cookies (see "Cookies and analytics choices" below).

Cookies and analytics choices

When you first visit our marketing site, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, and our performance measurement) do not load until you accept. If you decline, they stay off. Your choice is saved in your browser and you can change it at any time using the "Privacy choices" link in the site footer. Declining does not affect essential functionality such as signing in to the client portal or submitting a consultation request.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry, prepare proposals, and produce your event.
  • To process payments and account for artist and vendor compensation.
  • To send transactional email/SMS (booking confirmations, planning reminders, invoices) and, only with your consent, occasional promotional updates.
  • To improve our site and services through privacy-respecting analytics.

Sharing

We share data only with the vendors who help us run the business: Clerk (auth), Stripe (payments), Google Cloud (storage and analytics), Twilio and our email infrastructure providers (transactional/marketing messaging), and the assigned artists or planners working your event. We do not sell personal information.

Email & SMS choices

Every promotional email includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. Reply STOP to any promotional SMS to opt out of future text messages, or HELP for help. Standard message and data rates may apply. Transactional messages tied to an active booking will continue regardless of marketing preferences.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@moderneraweddings.com. We respond within 30 days. California, Virginia, Colorado, and other state-resident rights are honored where applicable.

Children

Our services are intended for adults planning weddings and events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy as our practices change. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
